Merry CHRISTmas

This we had so much fun celebrating CHRISTmas.  We decided to open all toyish gifts the day after Christmas so we could focus on Christ a little more with Christmas being on Sunday.  We planned a birthday part for baby Jesus and baked a cake, we had balloon filled with papers of gifts we wanted to give to baby Jesus, we made glittery star paper ornaments for the wisemen to follow and find the baby Jesus, we learned about gold, frankincense and myrrh (this looks like the longest word I have seen without a "traditional vowel"), and they each got a turn to rock the baby Jesus and wrap him up in "Swaddling clothes".  It was lots of fun and we have had toy fun all day today. 

VOTE FOR THE IPAD APP

Hey Family and Friends,

We could sure use your help in voting on our ipad book app ICON that will be the main icon that people install on their ipads... if you have an ipad, you can take a look at how ours might compare to others, but in the end, apple will take our graphic and make it look slick like the examples we have posted here.. (THE TITLE OF THE BOOK APP IS SLEEPING BABY which comes from our book, where is the sleeping baby?)

We are having so much fun as Little Eliza-Jane is learning to talk.  She gave root beer a new name last night, it is officially "Woot" at our house now.

Gingerbread Fun!

This is the final product that Jenny and I entered into the Macey's Gingerbread contest.  Miriam kept asking if everything was eat-a-ble.  It was Jacob's idea to put the lollypops in the chimney to look like balloons.  We had sooooo much fun!
