The Age of Accountability?

Jacob and I were talking about life the other day and one thing lead to another and he ended up telling me he was a little nervous about making sure he knew everything he needed to know to be ready to move out by the time he was 8. "It will be time for me to be on my own." He said. I tried not to laugh as I started to put together his perspective. He had made the conclusion, that when you where 8, you were accountable and therefore it was time to be on your own and he wanted to make sure he was ready.
We have been talking about how old people are and he also was very fascinated that McKay was 21. He wanted to know if there was a shortcut to getting to be 21, then he could vote and start selling products on Amazon. I explained to him that there are no shortcuts to getting older, you just have to put in the time.
Cute little man in the making!

We sure loved the beautiful weather for Easter and enjoyed the sunshine and thinking about the Son of God. We are so thankful for a Savior who is a loving friend, whom we can trust with all our hearts.
