Ready for Christmas!

Snow day!

Is it the moon? Or Saturn? :)

We just finished learning about the planets and to my surprise Eliza really caught onto the idea of stars and planets.  In the past at night when we see the moon she has referred to it as, "Harolds moon". This is because she loves Harold's purple crayon, but now she affectionately insists that it is a planet.  The first time it was Venus, then mars and Saturn.  We are not allowed to call it the moon without little Eliza Jane insisting it is a planet.  A very ameture star gazers in the making!

The Land of Jared's Nativity

Being as the Christmas season is coming on, we were driving by the old house where Jared was born and I finally got a snapshot.  Jared remembers the fun he had putting pennies on the track and nightmares about the chugging trains :)

Hazel said, realizing we were in the place where Daddy was born (American Fork) and that Daddy tells them stories about his childhood all the time, she made the connection and said, "DADDY!!! we are in your storyland!"

 So we went out for frozen yogurt the other night, and we all thought it was really tasty, but it was Eliza that LOVED it.  She just kept eating...she licked the last drops...and when it was all gone Jared went to throw away the container and she screamed, "Please don't be all done, I don't want to be all done!!!"

Eliza-Jane has been really cute about moving, she refuses to call our new house "home,"  she reminds us all it is not home, it is "The New House"

We will miss playing outside as the weather gets colder :(  But we are really excited for snow!
