Little Friends :)

I guess I'll just go away...

This is Hazel's new thing when she gets sad, or feels left out. Today she was especially upset and she said, "I guess I'll just go away into that dark spooky cave (behind our couch)" Poor little dear... We rescued her of course.

We were driving down a bumpy road and for fun Jared went fast over a bump, and Hazel said, "Wow, my tummy feels.....crooked"

Today during church Mommy had to step out and Hazel turned to Miriam and said, "It's okay Miriam, we can be mommies for all the little kids!"

She told all the kids in nursery today, that Miriam was her bestest friend :)

We love that Little Girl!!!!

Our New Friend :)

I was so excited to show the kids the new "Friend" magazine the other day, I said, "Look kids, our new Friend is here!!" Hazel was confused and she looked at me and said, "No, mommy, Uncle Nate is our new friend!" Too cute :)

Miriam's Letter To McKay

Just for fun...

Cozy...

Miriam loves to snuggle up at night, listening to Daddy tell parables. Last night she just couldn't fall asleep until she shared her blanket with daddy saying, "Now I'm cozy with Daddy!" She then fell right asleep. :)

Love is the Best Gift

Jacob got a toy car the other day and that night he came to Jared and said, "Daddy I've been thinking what to give you to tell you thank you for that car and I decided love is the best gift." Daddy got a big Jacob hug. We love our Jacob!

Miriam's Special Dance

One of our kids amazing talents, the Miri-wiggle.. ever since Jared brought home the keyboard, our kids have found a new joy in dancing and playing piano.

Ever feel like a Tree Stump?

Jacob was trying to describe how his tummy felt the other night, he said it was hurting but he didn't feel like throwing up, he looked at me and said, "My tummy just feels like a tree stump." I thought it was a very descriptive way to describe an upset tummy :)
