Tradition! Tradition!

It just wouldn't be Jared's birthday without a pumpkin carving party!  Jacob was old enough to do his pumpkin by himself this year.  They are growing up.  We said goodbye to Wellsville this week and are saying a big hello to American Fork!

Fun Fall TImes

Miriam sure is big helper.  She is always there to help with whatever needs to be done!

Miriam was very proud of her journal entry, so we had to get a picture

Three little pajama girls :)

Hazel and Miriam are quite a duo...you will almost always find them playing together!

What would we do without Daddy's energy to help us make sugar cookies?

Jacob created some really unique and amazing cookies, and they were yummy!

Do you like Eliza-Jane's crown, she made it nursery.  She has held onto it for over a week now!

Little miss spice....that's our Hazel

Miriam makes a yummy cookie!

Eliza just thinks it is play-dough

This is the famous "Red Barn" that we see right before we turn onto our gravel road.  I always tell them, "Look!  I see the red barn, that means we are almost home!"  After one long drive miss Eliza was extremely cranky, she had finally quieted down, so no one was saying anything, in hopes she would fall asleep.  So we neared the red barn.  I said nothing.  Then from the back of the car I heard a little voice say defiantely, "YOU DO NOT SEE THE RED BARN!!!!"

Tired "Little Bear" That's her new nick name

Birhtday Time again!!!

Happy Birthday Jacob and Hazel! (7 and 4) What a fun busy birthday week! Jacob had a fun "Race Day Party"

We did all kinds of racing. He invented alot of games and gave out his own little prizes and made everyone feel special. I asked him what it feels like to be 7, and he said, "I haven't really notices changes" :) Love that BOY!

Hazel was really really excited to see if she had grown. I told her the other day she was growing up, and she said, "Yes, but I won't be any taller until my birthday!" I asked her what it is like to be 4, she said, "Fun, and a little scary!"

She got a little mini toy doll for her present and I overheard her playing with her doll and string cheese, "The baby grabbed the string cheese tightly, but the cheese said nothing, it just fell over..."

Eliza awoke on Hazel birthday and saw the decorations everywhere and I said, "Guess what! Today is Hazel's birthday! That sign says Happy Birthday to Hazel!" Eliza looked at me, and said in a growly voice that she does so well, "IT DOES NOT SAY HAPPY BIRHTDAY TO HAZEL, IT SAYS HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! "

Jared was taking the kids home from a drive and was swerving back on forth on the country road.  He said they heard from the back of the car, "I can't pick my nose!"  It was Hazel who couldn't coordinate her operation with the swerving.
