One Year and Counting :)

We are bursting out of our cute little place...how long can we stand it? We have lasted over a year. There is still so much we love about our little house across the street from the church, in a cul-de-sac with a fully fenced backyard, new windows, all on one level....

My Bangs

When mommy cut my bangs I cried because I thought I looked like a boy. Miriam thought they were so beautiful she wanted bangs too. Then I felt better and when daddy "melted" because I was so beautiful I loved my new bangs, and now I don't eat my hair as much!

Happy Father's Day

When I tried to think of all the ways Jared is a great dad I was overwelmed with a flood of sweet memories. Whether it was thinking of him making pancakes each morning so the kids get full and help Mommy have a better day, or taking time each morning to say "secret prayers" with each child, or helping Hazel feel beautiful when Mommy gave her bangs and she cried because she thought she looked like a boy, or telling stories at night for sometimes 2 hours while Jacob falls asleep (He once started at Adam and Eve and told in detail through the milleium), or pretending that his heart is melting everytime the girls smile at him, or laughing every time Miriam tickles his neck, or doing origami for hours with Jacob while talking about how they are going to invent the lightening zero battery, or teaching little Janie how to relax on a pillow, or sneaking in late at night after scouts with a "prize" for good kids, and my list could go on and on....

But to say it simply...we LOVE OUR DADDY!!!!!!!

Miriam's Locket

This is the locket Miriam wears to primary to help her be brave enough to go to her sunbeam class. We love that brave little sunbeam!
