Our Sweet Daddy

One night we were outside enjoying the Summer night and Daddy, totally unprovoked, well almost unprovoked, started drenching everyone, with the hose, with a bucket, until we were all soaked. When Jacob and Mommy attempted to get revenge on Daddy little Miriam stepped out in front of Jared and said sincerely,
"Don't get our sweet Daddy!"
So here is to our sweet daddy.

Move Number 14

Most of you know that we have moved. We thought it would be interesting to note this is move 14, we thought this fitting as we will be having child number 4 this summer. We have slowed down, moving on average once a year now. We love living in Orem. Miriam calls it our "oiyum" house. They love our new place because it has a backyard with a swing set, swimming pool, and a safe area in front where they can ride their bikes (it's just missing a sandbox, according to Jacob). Jared is loving taking a few classes which have really helped him with business, and he will take some more classes in the fall. I have been filling my spare time with baby quilts, I am working on one for the new baby and poor little Hazel's blanket is still a work in progress. We feel blessed by the Lord to be in a cozy place and to see our little family growing each day.

Our little Growing Family

Without getting to mushy, I must post at least once, how grateful I am for my little family. Jacob, Miriam, Hazel, and what seems to soon be a little "Eliza Jane" with much discussion on my desire for a little "Emma Jane", are sweet little spirits exploding with love, intelligence, and all the joy you can imagine. We love them dearly. I can't wait to add, yet another girl to our clan. I must say, I have been right about one thing when it comes to our children, and that is they are all girls from here on out... I have my boy, and that is a tender mercy enough for me... bring on the girls so i can love'em and go on many daddy daughter dates... can we say I better start saving for the future with so many girls?

Good Things to Come

My Confession

I must confess... I have, for some time, been attempting to persuade my sweetheart, that we don't want to post our family's personal photos, info, etc. online, cause, I know the internet, and I know what people can do with info posted online... But, after years of persistence, and my utter embarrassment being a web developer myself, with many online businesses put up each year, I thought I ought to at least make it easy letting someone else do the hard work. So, here you have our first official family blog. I hope it gets used, I hope we can share the almost endless tender mercies that seem to pour upon us without end with all our loved ones.
